You'll work alongside a passionate, experienced team to deliver a program full of variety — from art and cooking to sports and imaginative games — and build a space where children feel safe, seen and inspired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program & Activities: Participate in delivering a fun, stimulating program of activities (structured and free play). Lead at least two engaging activities per week.
  • Child Safety & Supervision: Participate in collecting children daily from North Sydney Demonstration School.
  • Snack Time: Prepare healthy afternoon tea options and involve kids where possible.
  • Teamwork: Support the set-up and pack-down of shared spaces; collaborate with other educators and team leaders to contribute ideas to improve our offering.
  • Engagement & Communication: Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow staff; bring a warm and positive attitude to every shift.
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Record daily reflections as required, contribute to continuous improvement, and report any incidents appropriately.
  • Health & Safety: Follow WHS procedures, participate in evacuation drills, and maintain a clean, safe space for all.
