Asphalt Compaction Specialist

We are seeking an Asphalt Compaction Specialist for our Eastern Region Surfacing teams.

This is a permanent full-time role that requires regular travel and work during nights and weekends through our peak season.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with Site Engineers and Supervisors for daily duty assignments.
  • Work with Asphalt Paving Foremen and Roller Operators on roller patterns to achieve optimum compaction using a Pavement Quality Indicator (PQI).
  • Troubleshoot, identify, correct, and prevent quality control issues, as well as report and record keeping.
Requirements:
  • Experience in surfacing and production of asphalt, with any civil or materials background advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, a valid driver's licence, and basic computer skills.
