Teletriage Nurse

Sonder is seeking a skilled and compassionate Teletriage Nurse to join our 24/7 support centre. As a Teletriage Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing telephone and messenger-based screenings to evaluate the medical and mental health concerns of our members.

• Conduct thorough telephone and chat-based screenings to assess member medical and mental health concerns.
• Determine the urgency and criticality of member conditions to facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Coordinate with mental health services, emergency services, and other healthcare facilities as needed.
• Make necessary appointments on behalf of members and ensure continuous care by working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide referrals to counselling and partner services according to member needs.
• Carry out follow-up calls to evaluate the need for further assistance and support continuity of care.

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with experience in emergency and triage trained.
• Proven problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of working independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept in both written and verbal exchanges.
• High level of self-motivation and proactive in enhancing personal performance.
• Confidence in using technology platforms and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Current registration with AHPRA without restrictions.
