About the Role:The Quality Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality management throughout the project lifecycle. This includes leading and mentoring Quality Advisors, working closely with contractors and key stakeholders, and upholding high standards in construction and operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute quality inspection plans to ensure accurate progress tracking and reporting.
- Ensure all contractor documentation meets project requirements and Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs).
- Oversee and approve plans and vendor records to ensure compliance with standards.
- Report on overall quality performance, address issues promptly, and collaborate with stakeholders to uphold quality standards.
- Enforce adherence to tools and processes, including Corrective Action Notices (CANs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Oversee the inspection and testing of construction activities, ensuring traceability and timely handover of final deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in quality control, particularly in monitoring Quality Management Systems on large infrastructure projects.
- Experience with hydroelectric projects is a plus.
- Solid understanding of quality principles and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- 12.75% superannuation.
