Job Opportunity: Heavy Commercial Mechanic

Ready Resources is seeking a skilled Heavy Commercial Mechanic to join our team in the Pilbara Region and Perth. As a Heavy Commercial Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks and prime movers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
  • AUS/NZ recognized trade certificate in automotive field
  • Formal qualifications in mechanics disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Mine site experience is essential
  • Experience working with various trucks and prime movers, including Toyota, Isuzu, Volvo, Scania, and Kenworth
  • Forklift ticket, working at heights, and elevated work platform ticket
  • Dogging and rigging ticket is essential
  • Rio Tinto VOC for the licenses above
  • Valid driver's license
