Job Summary:
The Central Queensland Hospital And Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our team. As a Registered Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families in our maternity services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct midwifery and nursing care to women and their families in our maternity services.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to women and their families.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current annual practising certificate.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
