Job Description:

The Client Services Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences to individuals navigating the aged care journey. This position requires empathy, communication skills, and patience to build trust with clients.

This is an opportunity to work collaboratively as part of a frontline team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and respect.

  • Provide top-notch service by actioning tasks within agreed response timeframes in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Build rapport with clients through empathetic, friendly, and patient interactions.
  • Advocate for services and identify opportunities to recommend these services to clients.
  • Guide clients through their aged care journey, including familiarity with funded programs, service options, and eligibility criteria.
  • Maintain high-level telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills to deliver respectful caller engagement.
  • Meet operational requirements and key performance indicators.
  • Assist other teams as required to ensure operational needs are met.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MyAgedCare, funded programs, service options, and eligibility criteria.
  • Exceptional communication skills and empathy.
  • Patient and friendly approach to building trust with clients.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a frontline team.
