**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled clinician to join our team and provide high quality evidence based psychological therapies, clinical interventions and support to individuals and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with a leading organization to make a positive impact on people's lives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AOD and mental health, with experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. They will have exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate and facilitate client outcomes with a diverse group of people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual evidence based psychological therapies and clinical interventions to consumers
  • Work with consumers, treatment teams, family, friends and carers to improve mental health and AOD outcomes
  • Engage consumers using a strengths-based approach to complete assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans
  • Facilitate group interventions focused on a range of treatment modalities including psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention and other therapeutic interventions

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 5+ years' experience in AOD and mental health
  • Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy
  • Completed a Certificate IV in AOD or 4 AOD core competencies
