At Fuse Recruitment, we are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Orora. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.

Salary: We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Fitter with trade qualifications and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, making adjustments to ensure smooth operation, and logging information as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment as required
  • Make adjustments to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery
  • Log information as required
  • Report all items that cause machinery to perform under standard and record all machine anomalies to the engineering department
  • Assist the engineering team where required
  • Preventative maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification – Maintenance Fitter
  • Proven attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Strong safety focus
  • Current driver's licence and reliable car
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
