Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join a dynamic and rapidly growing finance organization.

About the Role

The Financial Accountant will work closely with senior financial staff, supporting daily accounting operations, preparing and reviewing management information, P&L reports, VAT returns, and statutory accounts.

The role also involves supervising and developing junior colleagues, providing both technical guidance and support with their professional exam progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review pension scheme reports and accounts.
  • Manage scheme cashflow reports, delegating and reviewing work of junior team members.
  • Prepare for year-end audits, liaising with auditors to ensure smooth completion and timely filing.
  • Produce and review monthly P&L reports and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Support the production and presentation of financial information for senior stakeholders, highlighting concerns and key issues.
  • Assist in financial audits and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development.
About You

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent, with a strong grounding in financial accounting.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
