Director of Data Strategy

We are seeking a seasoned data leader to spearhead our data and analytics vision, driving strategic leadership and expertise for developing and implementing our data strategy.
The ideal candidate will execute the data and analytics strategy, balancing innovation, digital enablement, disciplined execution, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the business system lifecycle plan, including information assets for data and analytics.
- Leading a governance structure that aligns to technology initiatives with business priorities while balancing resource constraints to optimize technology investments.
- Negotiating and influencing optimal business and commercial customer outcomes with internal/external service providers.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data and analytics within IT.
- Extensive experience working within a technology function in a large, complex organization with proven experience leading data and analytics teams.
- Strong leadership skills in bringing together a multi-faceted data and analytics team to design, build, deploy, and operate modern data products.
- Previous experience formulating strategies and strategically/operationally negotiating to achieve optimal commercial and service outcomes.
