Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) teams in schools. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, developing business strategies, and building relationships with educators, principals, and parents. They will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools, ensuring high-quality service delivery and achieving business objectives.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, including staff recruitment, training, and development, as well as program design and implementation.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews, ensuring the highest level of compliance and quality standards.
  • Support the development of a cluster of OSHC businesses in Melbourne, working closely with local stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
  • Past people management experience in childcare, particularly in OSHC settings.
  • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proven past success in management in any sector, with measurable outcomes and achievements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies.
  • Current Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's license and own car, with travel allowance provided.
  • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent.
