About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team at Ingenia Communities. As a key member of our community services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our community facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Regularly inspect and attend to general repairs to community facilities
  • Ensure the community facilities and grounds are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Perform garden labor tasks such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing in a timely and high-quality manner
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment
  • Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins and garden restoration
About You
  • Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
  • Driver's License
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
