Senior Baker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Qualified Baker to join our team at Woolworths Broome. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread and pastry products to meet customer demand
• Operate bakery equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve baking skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Australian (AQF issued) Trade/Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking (Breadmaking) or equivalent
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship within Australia
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
