Pathology Services Opportunity

The role of Medical Laboratory Technician is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary technical environment.

About the Role

We are seeking candidates with relevant pathology experience and qualifications to join our team, servicing the diverse needs of the Hunter Valley region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform front-end activities in specimen reception, data entry, and laboratory testing in biochemistry, haematology, and immunohaematology departments.
  • Conduct analyser maintenance, quality control, and other activities as directed by senior staff to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering pathology services within a discipline relevant to the department, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, and Quality Systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
