Head of Data Governance

This role presents a unique chance to lead and develop best practice data governance policies and processes.
You will oversee key data linkage activities and complex quantitative analysis initiatives to gain insight into issues such as drivers of client outcomes, future demand for services and the impact of policy/programs on client outcomes.
The key responsibilities involve:
- Developing and implementing data governance policies to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Managing and leading data governance and linkage processes for key linked data assets and research projects.
- Providing expert advice and support across Divisions, other government agencies and non-government stakeholders on sharing unit record data including data governance, privacy and security considerations.
- Designing and implementing strategies to help build a comprehensive policy evidence base with sufficient breadth and depth to inform strategic decisions.
