We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Executive Assistant to support our Investment Banking team in Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, paid over and above fixed pay. In addition, we offer 4 weeks annual leave, plus one week additional leave*, one week wellbeing leave* and the option to purchase leave (*subject to eligibility criteria).

Job Description:

The primary scope of this role is to support the Head of Investment Banking Coverage Australia. In addition, this role will also provide support to the Business Manager.

  • Extensive diary management – scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and ensuring an effective use of the executive's time
  • Coordinating internal & external meetings with clients & stakeholders from start to finish including liaising with assistants and booking meeting rooms
  • Providing superior and executive level of support to the team – maintaining a professional approach at all times (both internally and externally) and a high level of confidentiality
  • Reconciliation of monthly expenses in Concur ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Event coordination including Client dinners and Internal team building events
  • General administrative tasks including filing, printing, binding etc.
Requirements:
  • Five years' prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team
  • Ability to manage workflow, priorities, work well under pressure and to be flexible
  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Exhibit exceptional organisational skills, the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • High level of professionalism – face to face, over the phone and through written correspondence
  • Willingness and desire to build relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility of tasks
  • Professional approach towards the work environment
  • Self-motivated individual who displays a pro-active style and excellent attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills and ability to prioritise
  • Efficient, organized and capable with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to push back
