Assistant Buyer - CAMILLA

CAMILLA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to join our Global Buying Tribe. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process, from drop schedules to stock deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of drop schedules and stock deliveries for National and International markets.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Liaise with wholesale partners to ensure orders are handed over within deadlines.
  • Monitor the Critical Path and communicate any changes or potential delays to relevant team members or suppliers.
  • Manage samples, ensuring they are on time and ready for ranging.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Garment Technicians to resolve quality and delivery issues.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on critical path follow-through and pricing.
  • Embody the CAMILLA values and strive for excellence in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with offshore suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of fabric, components, construction, and manufacturing of apparel and swimwear.
  • Knowledge of specs and grading, with a strong understanding of the fashion retail industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a relevant degree qualification.
