About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Pier One Sydney Harbour. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve drinks according to our recipes and standards.
  2. Issue and open wine and champagne bottles.
  3. Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  4. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
  5. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  6. Transport supplies to the bar set-up area.
  7. Wash soiled glassware.
  8. Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place in designated areas.
  9. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
  10. Process all payment methods.
  11. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  12. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  13. Complete closing duties.

Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  2. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  3. Must hold a current RSA for NSW.
  4. You'll think outside the box and have an open-minded personality.
