Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

The role of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer B1.3 is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise and responsibility.

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance on aircraft, aircraft components, and general support equipment as directed by the Senior Base Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance activities in accordance with CAR30 Procedures Manual and/or Part145 MOE.
  • Ensure that your license regency remains current.
  • Act as a Job Coordinator during maintenance activities to meet the requirements of CAR30 and/or Part145 MOE and the issue of Maintenance Releases.
  • Be fully conversant with airworthiness requirements pertaining to maintenance of aircraft and in particular CAR Schedule 6.
  • Integrate well with other staff and work as part of a team.
  • Practice individual quality control at all times in accordance with CAR30 and/or Part145 MOE.
  • Bring anomalies in Maintenance Schedules, Defects or Maintenance Procedures to the attention of the Engineering Manager for corrective action.
  • Assist in maintaining the condition of the Hangar and keeping Ground Support Equipment clean, functional, and calibrated.
  • Provide on-the-job training to AMEs & Apprentices.
  • Travel domestically and internationally upon request to support product line operations.
