Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Boral Asphalt team in Seven Hills. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the service and maintenance requirements for mobile asphalt plant equipment and heavy vehicle fleet are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and oversee the service and maintenance requirements for mobile asphalt plant equipment and heavy vehicle fleet
  • Work independently and consult with operational teams on prioritization of tasks
  • Ensure mobile asphalt equipment and heavy vehicles comply with relevant safety standards
  • Monitor plant equipment for any defects and utilize our maintenance system
  • Undertake equipment assessments and reviews and develop improvement plans

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • HR License (desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and a safety first focus
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
