Bus Refuelling Technician

We are seeking a part-time Bus Refuelling Technician who will be responsible for ensuring our diesel buses are ready for service by refuelling, conducting inspections and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Bus Refuelling Technician and make a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our fleet operations.

  • Refuelling buses in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performing pre-inspection checks to monitor bus conditions and identify any defects or damage.
  • Reporting any defects, damage or repairs to the relevant personnel.
  • Moving and parking buses in the yard (training provided).
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the refuelling area.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid NSW C-class licence (MR or HR preferred but not essential) and a strong safety focus are also highly desirable.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time role working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, on an evening shift. Shifts rotate weekly between the following hours:

Rotating Shifts:

  • Earliest Start: 6:00 PM
  • LATEST FINISH: 2:00 AM

  • A proven track record of maintenance and fleet experience.
  • A strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
