We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team in delivering high-quality software solutions. Your extensive experience with commercial software development and excellent knowledge of web technologies will be invaluable assets in this role.

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reusable code for UI components, ensuring that it adheres to industry best practices and OFX coding standards. You will work closely with the tech lead and engineering managers to improve coding practices and participate in code reviews.

As part of an agile team, you will assist outside of your core skills, including deployments, QA, and level 3 support when required. You will actively provide leadership as part of the product development team, including mentorship and coaching. Additionally, you will participate in design reviews and proof of concepts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with commercial software development
  • Excellent knowledge of web technologies HTML/CSS
  • Excellent knowledge and commercial experience working with modern JavaScript, specifically React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, C#
  • Experience with AWS solutions and environments (Node.js, CDK)
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and development practices such as TDD, Kanban, Shift Left, etc.
  • Experience with our tech stack including AWS, specifically CDK, Lambdas, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge
