Nursing - General Medical & Surgical - Assistant in Nursing

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to join our dynamic nursing team at Norwest Private Hospital. As an Assistant in Nursing, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our registered nurses and enrolled nurses in their duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the direct delivery of patient care, ensuring the highest standards of care and compassion.
- Support the registered nurse and enrolled nurse in carrying out patient care duties, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Provide patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs and preferences of each patient.
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance- Acute Care or 2nd year undergraduates studying RN.
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritize work, using initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing is desirable, but not essential.
- Able to work independently and within a team, with a genuine willingness to help others.
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to nursing, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Flexibility with shift availability, including 4/6/7.5 hour shifts, day/evening/nights.
