About the Role:

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, providing meaningful support to the elderly in our community. As a Support Worker, you will be assisting our clients with daily tasks, such as dressing, showering, and cooking, while fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as dressing, showering, and cooking
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care plans are in place
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of our clients

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Aged Care or Equivalent
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to foster companionship and provide emotional support
  • Responsive to clients' needs and respectful of their capabilities
  • Able to collaborate with the individual, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure the best care plans are in place
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and a well-maintained clean and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance
