Technical Business Intelligence Consultant

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Technical Business Intelligence Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and mapping existing business processes and procedural documentation within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate reports, data visualisation dashboards and software packages to support internal stakeholders in delivering their business objectives.
  • Designing and developing clear and user-friendly instruction materials - including guides, manuals, and checklists that support best practice and legislative compliance.
  • Conducting data analysis, identifying and investigating data issues, and cleansing and preparing data to support ongoing business process improvement and sound decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Power Bi or other related business intelligence, data extracting, reporting or manipulation software and tools.
  • Strong technical skills in data collection, consolidation and analytics including experience using business intelligence, data warehousing and enterprise content management systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills, with a track record of producing clear, concise and persuasive documents for executive audiences.
