At Mater Misericordiae Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to take on a permanent part-time (32 hours a week) role in our Medical ward. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care, this position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of patients.
About the OpportunityThis role will see you working in Ward 9A, a 27-bed ward that cares for older public patients with a diverse range of specialties, including Cardiac, Respiratory, Endocrine, Dermatology, and infectious conditions. As a key member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Experience as a Registered Nurse, with previous clinical experience within General, Respiratory, and Renal
- Able to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
- Excellent organisational skills, as well as high-level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
