We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Caring Professional to join our team as an Aged Care Worker at Karinya Residential Aged Care Home in Nanango. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, respect, and comfort are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and other support services
- Work collaboratively with Enrolled & Registered Nurses to provide clinical and personal care to residents
- Maintain accurate records of resident care plans and progress
- Participate in ongoing individualised training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification (desired)
- Medication Assist Competency (desired)
- Understanding of Aged Care principles and Residents' rights and responsibilities
- Dedicated commitment to caring for older people to live their best lives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with availability of days and shift times
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work effectively within a team environment, and demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults.
