Job Title: Appian Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization as an Appian BPM Expert.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, with expertise in Appian custom development, and experience working with various automation and low-code platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solving complex technical problems using Appian and other supporting platforms.
  • Bringing in-depth application development expertise in Appian BPM and experience using Appian connectors and web services.
  • Conducting solution / product demonstrations, POC workshops and preparing effort estimates that suit the customer requirements.
  • Leading development teams, actively troubleshooting issues and helping team members to troubleshoot issues.
  • Conducting research, development, and implementation of new tools to speed up and simplify application development.
  • Managing all project-related documentation, training, and tooling so that they are updated, easily accessible and globally reusable.
  • Building relationships and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Coaching others on technical best practices.
  • Assisting with recruiting events and conducting candidate interviews.
  • Supporting pre-sales, scoping, and client presentations.
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of client-facing experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of Appian-based applications.
  • Working knowledge of relevant automation and low-code trends, standards, practices.
  • Understanding of ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, Data Integration Architecture or EAI and/or applied knowledge of enterprise architecture, including data management.
  • Experience with Appian custom development (e.g., language - Java).
  • Familiarity with a range of automation and low-code platforms.
  • Experience leading teams and coaching junior staff.
  • Ability to provide insight based on experience on recommended actions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Developer Certification(s) to credential your Appian experience, along with motivation to keep learning more.

  • Strong Design and Development in Appian.
  • Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.
