We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Computing Research Expert to join our team at the University of New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in quantum information processing and error correction.

About the Opportunity

The research group of Professor Andrea Morello has an opening for a postdoctoral Research Associate / Senior Research Associate. The group specialises in the development of quantum computing hardware based on the spin of implanted donors, integrated within silicon nanoelectronic devices.

Your role will be to conduct theoretical research focused on developing new theory for quantum information processing in high-dimensional systems and informing future directions for the experimental effort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop original theory in the field of quantum information processing and error correction.
  • Apply quantum information theory to practical experimental platforms.
  • Conduct independent research with limited supervision.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in theoretical quantum information processing, quantum error correction, and application to practical quantum devices.

This role reports to Scientia Professor Andrea Morello and has no direct reports.
