Supply Chain Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and executing supply chain activities to meet customer demands.

About the Role
  • This 12-month contract role supports a key product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, requiring you to take ownership of supply planning for a set of locally manufactured products.
  • You will work closely with demand, replenishment, marketing, and production teams to ensure the right stock is available at the right time, maintaining strong service levels while optimising inventory and supporting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective supply planning strategies to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory management and efficient supply chain operations.
  • Analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply planning within a complex, fast-paced business.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to handle and visualise large data sets using Power Query or Tableau.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to production planning or component-based planning is a plus.
