
Hydraulic Component Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to perform a variety of tasks related to the disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of hydraulic components and systems.
This is a dynamic and hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of major hydraulic components and previous experience in hydraulic component repair.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic tests on hydraulic components and systems to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Disassemble, inspect, assemble, and test hydraulic components and systems to ensure proper operation.
- Use data logging instruments to gather critical customer product data for troubleshooting and performance resolution.
- Complete and upload all service-related documentation via our job management system, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
- Prepare detailed Service Reports outlining executed work, including start/finish times, ensuring all relevant information is accurate.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding completed, ongoing, and upcoming jobs, ensuring smooth workflow and clarity on priorities.
- Maintain the necessary physical capability to perform required tasks and promptly inform supervisors of any issues that could impact safety or job performance.
- Actively contribute to improving business operations and process efficiencies, bringing forward any opportunities to enhance workflows.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Mechanical Trade, Fitter/Turner and/or Fluid Power certificate
- Excellent technical knowledge of major hydraulic components
- Previous experience in hydraulic component repair
- Able to work unsupervised, committed and Reliable
- High focus on Quality and attention to detail
