Quality Control Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to conduct biochemistry assays and ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with established procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will analyze and interpret data, perform calculations, and document results in accordance with industry guidelines and internal protocols.
  • This role involves maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring instruments are in optimal working condition.
  • You will contribute to the development and improvement of analytical methods, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, you will support product development and release.
  • This position requires adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field is required.
  • Extensive experience from ideally pathology, or pharmaceuticals is highly valued.
  • Proven experience in conducting biochemistry assays to test proteins within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry is essential.
  • Familiarity with various analytical techniques, including but not limited to capillary electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and spectroscopy is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of GxP principles and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical quality control is required.
