Strategic DevOps expert sought to drive the adoption and evolution of DevOps practices across the Duck Creek platform. This position is ideal for an experienced leader who can enhance agility, efficiency, and operational excellence.

As a senior DevOps engineer, you will lead a team in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, championing automation, and ensuring infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable. Collaboration with Agile teams is necessary to embed DevOps into the software lifecycle while continuously improving systems to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic pipeline of work with clear prioritization and resource focus
  • Champion Agile and DevOps practices to drive excellence and continuous improvement
  • Mentor the team on DevOps best practices, automation, and delivery standards
  • Drive continuous improvement to uplift delivery performance and efficiency
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines, resolving deployment issues and refining workflows
  • Implement Duck Creek DevOps innovations to enhance platform performance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience working as a senior DevOps / Cloud Platforms / Software Engineer
  • Familiarity with Duck Creek tools, cloud engineering, and scaling/monitoring cloud resources
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Ansible, Terraform
  • Excellent grasp of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Octopus and Dynatrace
  • Familiar with automated testing and version control systems
