We are seeking a passionate, creative chef to join our team and help launch a new Mexican restaurant concept on the Gold Coast.
This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, bringing authentic dishes to life and contributing to a positive and motivated culture.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and presenting vibrant, authentic Mexican dishes with consistency and flair
- Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen while maintaining high food quality and standards
- Monitoring food quality, minimising wastage and ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Assisting with training and mentoring of upcoming chefs to build a strong, talented team
- Promoting safe work practices and maintaining efficiency across the kitchen
- Experience working in Mexican cuisine is essential
- Qualification with a minimum Cert IV in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Hygiene qualification
- Familiarity with the Food Safety Act and WHS legislation
