About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our café/bar area.

Your duties will include preparing and serving food and drinks, operating a point-of-sale terminal, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will also be responsible for supporting the café/bar team with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks, including taking orders and operating a point-of-sale terminal.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning coffee machines and equipment.
  • Refill drink fridges and snacks, and maintain service area to food safety standards.
  • Support the café/bar team with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (RSA)
  • Demonstrated experience as a barista in a fast-paced, premium establishment (min 2 years)
  • High volume experience, able to work on multiple orders at once
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Good cash handling and multi-tasking skills
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Exceptional presentation and grooming
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
