The Opportunity

As a Sales Growth Specialist at Podium, you will own the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to deal closure. Armed with a suite of business-critical SaaS tools, you will be tasked with generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. You will receive close support from your Team Lead, SDR, and Marketing teams to help achieve your monthly revenue goals.

Podium's Sales Growth Specialists play a crucial role in shaping the way local businesses operate in their region. You will simplify interactions and empower your customers to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • SMB + Mid-Market acquisition: close new business deals through solution-based selling
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, with assistance from the SDR, CSM, and Marketing teams
  • Work closely with your SDR to generate qualified leads
  • Self-source: make outbound calls and emails daily
  • Exceed your monthly revenue target
  • Pipeline management: maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and ensure Salesforce is up-to-date
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years' experience in B2B closing in a high-velocity role (tech-sales preferred)
  • Proven experience selling to SMBs (bonus points for experience in Retail, Auto, Medical, Home Services, and/or Professional Services)
  • Proven success in prospecting into new markets and generating leads
  • The ability to navigate quick sales cycles
  • Experience carrying and exceeding monthly revenue targets
  • Exceptional presentation and pitching skills
