Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Care Team at Regis Aged Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and clients, providing exceptional care and support in a warm and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents and clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify resident and client needs, and make recommendations for care and support.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support, and to promote a culture of respect and dignity.
  • Participate in handovers and team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Valid qualification in nursing, with a strong understanding of aged care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, clients, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and services.
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and other relevant funding models.
