We are seeking an experienced Data Management Leader to join our Operational Services Team at AGL Energy. As the Manager of Data & Reporting, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers, BI engineers, and business analysts to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Business Intelligence specialists to develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools.
- Partner with customer markets leadership to establish performance metrics and identify gaps in current reporting and insight capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Technology to leverage investments in data assets and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain a central repository of customer markets performance metrics and Business Intelligence applications.
- Evolve the Business Intelligence team's technical capabilities to stay ahead of market developments.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of technology and data architectures.
- Experience in deploying Business Intelligence environments across complex organizations.
- Experience in delivering enterprise solutions across Business Intelligence and Data platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in leading teams through significant change.
- Team-oriented, self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude and ability to work flexibly in a dynamic organization.
- Experience with data modeling and visualization, data processing systems, and big data platforms.
