Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English to students from Year 7 to Year 12.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements. They will be skilled in creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the broader school community.

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in English to students from Year 7 to Year 12
  • Prepare daily and long-term lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards
  • Assess student progress and provide individualised support
  • Contribute to the broader school community through staff meetings, assemblies, and professional development days
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level
  • A Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Accreditation with NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority)
