About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed mechanical drawings and models using advanced design software. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure all designs meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using Solidworks, Inventor, or Vault
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine designs
  • Produce accurate and precise drawings for manufacturing and assembly
  • Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and specifications for project deliverables
  • Manage drawing files and documentation within the company's data management systems
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of designs.
About You

You are a meticulous Mechanical Draftsperson with a strong background in mechanical design and drafting. You are proficient in using Solidworks, Inventor or Vault, and you excel in producing accurate and detailed drawings. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Essential Selection Criteria:
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor or Vault
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in producing detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
  • Experience in the manufacturing, mining, or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with data management systems for drawing control
  • Experience working with engineers and project teams to develop design solutions.
