We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Haulage Operator to join our team at Boral, a leading construction materials supplier. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime and the chance to upgrade your licence from HR to Heavy Combination while being paid to learn.

About the Role:

As a Heavy Haulage Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering quarry materials across various infrastructure projects in Queensland. Your day will involve delivery of quarry materials, conducting daily checks on the vehicle, reporting maintenance as required, and completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of quarry materials, adhering to axle weights tolerances and utilising smart track systems to capture data;
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any necessary maintenance;
  • Completing documentation related to material collection and delivery;
  • Effective communication with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.
Requirements:
  • A valid HR Licence, with a minimum 12 months of driving experience;
  • Ability to learn and utilise telematics technology;
  • OH&S induction for the construction industry (white Card) is desirable but not essential;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant transport laws and regulations.
