Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where professional development is actively encouraged. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide services to participants of all ages with guidance from a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
  • Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans
  • Educating and training carers and support teams
  • Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines

You will enjoy a flexible working model that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community.

About You
  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)
  • Endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required)
  • You have full Australian working rights
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check
