Mental Health Care Specialist

The Community Mental Health Clinician, Adult Service provides recovery-focused clinical services to individuals with mental illness, distress, and/or risk issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with consumers, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain excellent communication skills and proficiency in computer literacy.
- Travel as required, potentially involving long distances.
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health practice, including mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery.
- A collaborative and strengths-based approach to care.
