The Service Area Manager is a leadership role that oversees the overall performance and day-to-day operations of an Aged Care Assessment team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a strong, connected team to ensure high-quality assessments for older Australians.
- Implement strategies to achieve best outcomes for clients and exceed contractual requirements.
- Ensure consistent high-quality services are provided to older adults and their families/carers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and a united purpose.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role within Aged Care.
- Proven success in managing, leading, and developing teams to reach their full potential.
- A deep understanding of the needs and issues facing older people and their families/carers.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth policy and funding arrangements.
