Job Description

The payments industry is rapidly evolving, and businesses are seeking skilled professionals to drive growth.

Nuvei's modular technology enables leading companies to accept next-gen payments, offer payout options, and benefit from card issuing, banking, risk, and fraud management services.

We connect businesses to their customers in over 200 markets, with local acquiring in 50 markets, 150 currencies, and 700 alternative payment methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete review of client and partner applications to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Evaluate Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and related regulatory compliance during the underwriting process.
  • Apply card brand network rules to determine eligible merchant businesses for processing accounts.
  • Communicate decisions and data needs with sales teams and business partners effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing periodic review of larger exposure merchant accounts to mitigate risk.
  • Investigate high-risk transactions and implement fraud detection rules, processes, and systems to improve detection.

Maintain knowledge of relevant rules and regulations affecting the payments industry, including VISA, Mastercard, and Auspaynet.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in risk management and regulatory compliance is also necessary.
