Rehabilitation Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of the Community Rehabilitation Unit, you will work closely with clients and their carers to achieve rehabilitation goals.

Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing high-quality nursing services in a community setting. You will also be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

About the Role
  • You will work as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, contributing to the assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing services for clients and their carers referred to the Community Rehabilitation Unit.
  • You will assist the Clinical Nurse Specialist - Rehabilitation in ensuring best practice standards for nursing services are provided by CRU, in accordance with organisational policies, legal requirements, and professional competencies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the clinical management of clients with complex rehabilitation needs within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Able to liaise with relevant service providers and stakeholders involved in client care.
  • Commitment to the client-centred care model and understanding of its application to clients undergoing rehabilitation programs in the community.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in a rehabilitation or community setting.
