Retail Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a career-advancing position in shopping centre operations management with uWorkin. As a Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance tasks and repairs to enhance the centre's appearance and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure the centre's facilities are well-maintained and safe for customers and employees.
- Develop and implement a 12-month maintenance schedule to ensure proactive maintenance and minimize disruptions.
- Respond to retailer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and maintain accurate records of audits and inspections.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Manage contractor inductions and performance, enforcing safe work practices and ensuring contractors meet uWorkin's standards.
- Collaborate with emergency services to develop and implement disaster management plans, ensuring the centre's preparedness and response to emergencies.
- A trade background or equivalent experience in facilities management is highly desirable.
- Technical knowledge of building infrastructure and equipment is essential.
- Proven experience in operational administration within a corporate environment, with a focus on customer service and relations.
- Proficient in computer applications, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, when required.
