Leading the Way in Software Quality

At Planit, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Director to lead our testing function within a leading Financial Institution. As the Head of Testing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software applications' quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the organisation's overall business goals and technology roadmap.
  • Lead and manage a team of test professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure optimal performance.
  • Establish and maintain efficient testing processes, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Drive the adoption of test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
  • Ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
About You:

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various testing types, including functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing. Strong experience in test management, leadership, and stakeholder communication is essential.

The salary for this role is $AUD 120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
