About this role
">- This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional to join our team as a Quality Advisor on the Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project.
As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of quality objectives and requirements. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure that all aspects of the project meet the highest standards of quality.
">About the Project
">The Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project is a major infrastructure development in the Noosa hinterland. The project involves upgrading the existing dam to improve its capacity and efficiency.
">Your key responsibilities
">- Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques to ensure compliance with quality standards;
- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review;
- Assist with the implementation of the organisational Quality Management System on the project;
- Prepare audit reports summarising production and quality issues together with recommend corrective actions;
- Identify and report quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery to the Quality Manager;
- Provide technical advice and assistance to management for quality-related activities.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar), Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management;
- Ideally 3+ years' experience in a quality representative role;
- Quality assurance experience gained preferably within the construction industry working on Infrastructure Projects.
